The Golf Academy
Four Bridges Golf Academy is in our 9th year. I was hired to develop and implement a facility that offered both member and non-member programs. It was my intention to use the Academy as a community outreach to grow the game of golf. The concept has taken off satisfying the needs of the private membership as well as the golfing community.
The Academy supplies Four Bridges Country Club with a steady stream of potential new members, developing social members and valuable community buzz. The surrounding communities get a unique opportunity to experience golf instruction at a private facility with out the requirement to join unless they want to.
We are available to our clients year round and at any time thanks to our heated hitting bays and external lighting.
My business has grown dramatically and I now have tw6 lead instructors, Office Manager, 4 Junior PGA Apprentices working for and with me. My schedule is currently full and limited times are available. I work an annual instruction model as follows:
November 15th – April 1st – Fitness / Swing mechanic development
April 2nd – June 1st – Transition period/short game development
June 2nd – August 15th – Play/tournament prep programs
August 15th – October 15th – Coaching/Player maintenance.
